The winter husky ride trips tkes places in a very scenic area on Gubałowka Hill. We will pick you up from your apartment, drive you to where you will meet the dogs and from where you will start the ride. On clear days the view from the area is really amazing and this is one of those unforgetable experiences.

Husky Tour includes

• Transport to the valley and back to your apartment.
• Short walk through  beautiful valley.
• 2km Husky Sleigh Ride. 

You will meet with the huskies and have some time to interact with them and take pictures. You will then be taken to the sleigh and the dogs will be prepared to pull the sleigh. The Ride is about 2km long and lasts slightly shorter than 10min. Depending on the conditions, 2 people can go with 2 separate sleighs. The trainer or an instructor will be guiding the sleigh while you are sitting inside the sleigh. There will also be a chance for you to try and guide the sleigh yourself.

* This activity can only be bookde as part of a winter programme including more activities such as our foodtour, winter hike ect.

Facts about the huskies used

• Huskies need a lot of exercise and this is a great way for the dogs to release some of that extra energy they have.
• The huskies are extremely well trained.

Other useful info

• Bring some warm clothes if you have to wait it can get cold. 
• Wear good winter shoes. 
• In the winter high season it is advisable to book 1 month in advance.
• The tour is only available if the snow conditions are good enough and will generally be confirmed a day or 2 before the scheduled date for the tour.
• There are options to do longer runs or even day trips with the dogs, if you are interested please go to book a tour and ask for longer trips and prices.
• Also please note that prices may vary over the Christmas and New Years time.

Cross Country lessons

Cross country is a fun, all body workout winter sport. There are some well prepared routes around Zakopane and we have very good intructors to help you on your way. For those of you seeking to learn a new skill or try a different winter sport this is the perfect start. It is not necessary to be able to ski before you learn how to cross country ski. 

Kulig

The horse sleigh ride with a bonfire and grilled sausages is an old Polish winter tradition suitable for groups of friends or familes. The trip includes a pick-up from your apartment, transport to the Koscielisko area and back to the apartment.

Ski Tour Trip

Ski Touring has become more popular in recent years and is our faviourite winter activity. Zakopane and the surrounding Tatra mountains offer some of the best opportunities to learn this sport and explore the mountains on skis. Ski touring is a great workout and a lot of fun.
