We offer bicycle city tours exploring Zakopane and some of it's hidden secrets and history. This trip is one of the best ways to experience Zakopane from a local perspective. We offer shorter and longer trips and the trips are both quite easy and doesn't require a high level of fitness. Enjoy beautiful Zakopane with one of our local guides!
Trip Option 1 schedule (approx 2,5 hours):
- Meeting at BazaTatry by Kościuszki 22 st. and choosing bikes.
- Biking through Równia Krupowa to town park where we can look at a photography exhibition about the region and at beautifull, wooden villa "Jutrzenka" which is now a house of art and culture in Zakopane.
- Next we will go to a local museum of a famous Polish writer of XX - Kornel Makuszyński. He was a passionate traveler who wrote many stories, a lot of them for children. The museum was his house in Zakopane. The visit takes around 20 min.
- Then biking to the Ski Jump area. Here Zakopane ends and we bike along the border of town and the Tatra National Park. Time for a short break in Educational Center of TPN.
- Biking towards Antałówka hill. On the way we have a chance to look closer at Zakopane architectual style degined by Stanisław Witkiewicz; One of his greatest buildings villa "pod Jedlami" or villa "Witkiewiczówka".
- Off road trail goes through Antałówka and lead us back to Zakopane. On the way we have stunning view at Tatras and the town below.
- We bike to Witkacy theatre. The building has interesting and spooky history. On its walls we look at original art inspired by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz - "freak from Krupówki", one of greatest artists of XX century.
- Back to BazaTatry.

The view is amazing and the facilities are great to unwind at the end of an action packed active day, which Retha is also happy to organise for us. We would recommend a hike in the area, fat biking and a snowboard lesson organised through Retha. Next time we are in Zakopane we would definitely stay here again! -
